Remembering Mulham Cuisine in Mississauga
Mulham Cuisine earned a loyal following in Mississauga and across the Greater Toronto Area for its traditional Syrian catering and baked specialties. Its safiha, cheese and spinach fatayer, lahm mjarmasheh, kibbeh, grape leaves, sheshbarak, Ramadan maarouk, and Syrian sweets helped many customers reconnect with familiar flavours from home.
The family’s work also represented an important chapter in the story of Syrian entrepreneurship in Canada. What began with traditional recipes and catering orders grew into a well-known local food business serving family gatherings, weddings, Eid celebrations, baby showers, and community events. Although Mulham Cuisine has closed, its food and hospitality remain warmly remembered by many former customers.
